Bailey, 

I know you can't read, but here are some of the things I wish I could understand:

Before you I was just living and going through the motions. Before you I had no reason to come home and would spend night after night coming home at 3 in the morning. Ever since that rainy day I brought you home, I wanted you to know how much I love you and how appreciative I am of you. So, Bailey, I want to say thank you. Thank you for teaching me patience. Thank you for always greeting me at the door every time I come home with a wagging tail. Thank you for always being ready to go on an adventure. Thank you for reminding me to take joy in the small things and just live in the moment. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face even when it is the last thing I want to do. Thank you for your loyalty. You have never left my side and I will never leave yours. And lastly thank you for all of the laughs, snuggles, and unconditional love. You have no idea how much joy you have filled my soul with.
