To my little princess Polly,

I don’t know exactly how we found each other but you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I never wake up in a bad mood anymore because when I see your face, I can’t help but feel happiness.  

You’re technically a Pomeranian but I think you are mixed with squirrel and rabbit and a bit of angel. People who don’t like dogs always end up loving you because you are such a unique little creature.

I usually like to name my dogs after punk rock singers.  I’ve had a Sid and a Nancy… and you are named after Poly Styrene, the lead singer of the band X-Ray Specs.

I’ve never see anyone who loves the spotlight as much as you.  You’ve been to more social events and galas than most humans, and the minute we arrive, you get a special skip in your step.  You are a regular at Fashion Week and you know how to work a red carpet. 

You have helped me through some of my toughest times.  Not to mention you are a godsend every time I get on an airplane.  I have a fear of flying but when I’m traveling with you, I can focus all of my energy on taking care of you and just like that, everything is better.  

I truly believe that we were meant to be together and you are my soulmate. I love you more than anything I’ve ever loved my entire life and I cannot function without you.
