Dear Doug, 

I never knew a bond like ours could exist. When your little soul came into my life everything changed! I had wanted a pug since I was so young and you have been everything I dreamed of and more.

I am so thankful that I get to spend every day with you. You have shown me how to be so silly and laugh when I feel like crying. You are the coziest bed-hog and always keep my feet warm. I can’t believe we have gotten to travel the world together and explore places that most pugs don’t get to see.

People always ask me if you “know” that you’re famous. Of course you do! You know that your job is to make people happy and it gives me so much joy to watch the room light up when you walk in it with your confident little strut.

Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. For loving me unconditionally and changing my life forever. There will never be another you, and that’s okay - because I know you will always be with me and our souls will one day meet again.
